Agata Sobol joined Avvocati Associati Franzosi Dal Negro Setti in 2003 and becomes a partner in 2011 after having achieved the following academic degrees: Bachelor of Laws at Warsaw University (Poland), 2003; Bachelor of Laws (Maîtrise en Droit) at Tours University (France), 2002; Master in French Business law (DESS) at Warsaw University and Poitiers University (France), 2003.

She is specialized in intellectual property law with particular expertise in patent litigation as well as trade marks, design, know how and unfair competition litigation.

Agata assists clients in managing their IPR portfolios in Italy and abroad and she advises also on copyright, denomination of origin and geographic indication related issues.

She has handled cases for well known companies in fashion, design mechanics, pharma and building industries. She successfully assists clients in important patent litigation cases relating to interesting and specific problems of indirect infringement, equivalence, claims construction, damages deriving from patent infringement.

Agata is also expert in drafting specific agreements including license, know how transfer agreements, assignment of all the IPRs.

Her experience comprises also assisting primary clients in matters relating to trade mark, patent and online infringement controversies in China, including Hong Kong.

Furthermore, Agata represents Polish clients in Italy and assists Italian clients in Poland, especially by offering consulting services in IP related cases for Italian companies interested in developing their business in Poland.

She is lecturer for CONVEY, training seminars for patent and trade mark attorney candidates.
