Federica Santonocito obtained a Phd in Intellectual Property law at law faculty of Perugia University where she started her academic and lecturer activity. In 1993 she joined Avvocati Associati Franzosi Dal Negro Setti and became a partner of the IP department.

Her expertise embraces the following activities:

  • specific litigation experience, assistance in all the matters concerning patents, trade marks, design, unfair competition, know how protection and copyright. More precisely she handled cases of international companies in the fashion, design, pharma and food industry. The cases in which she represented clients often became subject of publications in the specialized law reviews;
  • she is head of the firm’s Chinese Desk and assists primary Italian clients in Beijing and Shanghai with their litigation related to IP cases;
  • she is constantly a speaker at national and international conferences dedicated to infringement related issues. Her important contributions could be seen during the following conferences: ‘Luxury Goods: between Art and Law’, Hong Kong 2008, ‘Estimating IP assets’, Macerata (Italy), 2013, ‘Hong Kong and China: strategies for Italian companies. Practical guide to a correct market approach’, Milan, 2013;
  • Federica is author of a number of articles published in the well known national and international IP reviews.
