Franco Guariglia: From Barilla to Franzosi Dal Negro Setti as of counsel

After graduation, Franco Guariglia joins Barilla’s team as Junior Legal Counsel. In 1986 he becomes officer and executive in 1990, as Head of the Legal Department.

Franco later becomes Group General Counsel and ultimately held the role of Chief Legal Corporate and Compliance Officer.

In addition to management activities, Franco operated in the fields of M&A, civil and commercial law, food and advertising law, industrial property, antitrust, compliance and corporate liability: he also gained experience in the field of international trade law.

During the last 25 years, he strictly followed the international development of the company, including the incorporation of foreign subsidiaries (currently over 30).

The entrance of Franco is a further step of the development strategy of the firm, aimed at strengthening its areas of expertise.
