Angelo Renoldi, former Professor at the Bocconi University of Milan, is now Full Professor, Emeritus of Economics and Business Management at the University of Bergamo. At this University, he has held institutional roles as Deputy Pro-Rector, as well as co-promoter of the newly established School of Management Training - SdM School of Management, of which he was Director in its first five years of activity.His research activity has focused on Industrial Economics and on the international competitiveness of Italian companies, as well as on topics of Business Economics, in particular Economic and Financial Strategy and Policies, the Theory of Value Creation, the Measurement of Business Economic Capital, the Valuation of Intangible Assets and Intellectual Property. On these topics he is the author of numerous monographs, articles and contributions in journals and collections of studies.In addition to his research and teaching activities, he has a consolidated consulting activity in the field of corporate transactions and valuation, with particular focus on New Intellectual Property Assets and the implications of product complexity on the measurement of patent, trade secrets and trademark infringement damages. He has been a technical advisor to Italian and foreign companies in disputes concerning unfair competition and Intellectual Property.He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore S.p.A., as indipendent director.
