In focusing and defining the problem, Franco gets to the point, seeking clarity and essentiality. Having grown up in a company, he is used to working with top management, whose needs and expectations he understands. Born as a corporate lawyer, he has a practical approach: helping the company to make the correct assessment and look for the best solution, respecting time and costs. He knows that management needs certainty: a little essential information, risk analysis and final recommendations.Over the years, he has learned to combine intuition with the ability to investigate, characteristics that lead him to leave nothing to chance.His gentle manner and fairness in human relations have always helped him in the most complex and conflicting situations. Franco joined Barilla in 1982, immediately after graduating and practising law, as Junior Legal Counsel. He soon held increasingly important positions until he became General Counsel in 1990 and, most recently, Chief Legal Corporate and Compliance Officer. In October 2021 he joined Franzosi Dal Negro Setti as Of Counsel in the Corporate and Business Law department.During his career, he has developed a deep knowledge of matters of interest in the agri-food sector, including food and advertising law, national and international contracts, industrial property, commercial law, corporate governance and compliance. Over the last 25 years he has developed solid experience in following the international expansion of the group, dealing with m&a, joint ventures, commercial alliances and distribution, brand and know-how licensing, incorporation of subsidiaries and foreign branches. Franco graduated with honours in law with a thesis in philosophy of law, from the University of Parma and qualified to practice law, he has attended various management courses on business process management, resource management and conflict management. He has lectured for private and public bodies and associations. He was an American Field Service scholarship holder, thanks to which he was able to obtain a high school diploma in the USA. Languages:
